Alkaline Diet
SIBO Diet
Alkaline Diet: The alkaline diet is mainly based on switching your pH( potential of Hydrogen) balance from acidic to alkaline. Most of our bodies are acidic due to unhealthy foods we eat everyday. This is especially true if your on the SAD (Standard American Diet) which consists of eating copious amounts of meat, dairy, refined foods, and sweets(refined sugar). Anyways, it has been said that everything we eat has either an acidic or alkaline solution, when we tend to eat too much of acid-forming foods we cause an imbalance in our systems. The excessive acid lowers our pH level and cause a bad environment in our bodies that will produce bad bacteria, viruses, or degenerative diseases. The point of the alkaline diet is to switch your body from an acidic state to a balanced one ; the ratio of alkaline foods to acid foods should be 80:20,
(80% alkaline forming foods and 20 % acid forming foods).Though having an acidic body is bad for you, eating acidic foods is not actually bad, only if the majority of your diet consists of acidic food is when it is considered a problem.
Note: There are foods that have a higher or lower level of alkalinity and acidity. For a more detailed version of a alkaline food table and additional information click on these links:
http://www.trans4mind.com/nutrition/pH.html
http://www.angelfire.com/az/sthurston/acid_alkaline_foods_list.html
Note: The highlighted colors on the foods will depend on their order in alkalinity.
In addition, some foods have two different alkaline levels next to them, the reason for that is the fact that some alkaline tables have them considered high while other tables considered them to be low, also some other foods are not even labeled because I couldn't find the alkaline level for them.

please help, I have a very strange uncontrolable smell that leaks out of my body. Smells like I pooped in my pants or passed gas. Happens randomly through out the day and now night. Started almost 1 year ago, getting worse and worse. I have gone to my primary Dr and GI Dr about this, have had test done and they have no idea what is causing it and have never heardof such a thing. Also researched online, have read many stories of other people with the same problem who have all given suggestions how to try stopping this, but no one has had any success. I just keep buying and trying things. But after spending at least $100-200 dollars on tons of products,Detox cleansers etc....and trying all kinds of home remedies. I have not had any luck getting rid of this horrilbe curse.seams to be getting worse and more requent. Its causing sooo much unbearable embarrassment. All of my co-workers think im completely disgusting. Now with how often it happens my family and friends seam to notice more. Im so depressed, angry and mortified by this. At times I have suicidal thoughts because I cant take it anymore. Almost all my hope of being normal again is gone. At first only my coworkers were able to smell it, working in a small office for 8 hrs a day,there is nothing I can do to hide it. I always hear people commenting and wispering about how bad I smell. Its awful. No one wants to be around me. Everyone has lost respect fo me. Im a very clean person. Its not my hygine that is the problem. Its a complete mistery on why this happens. Ive never talked to anyone at work about it. I just pretend not to notice, its too embarrassing to even bring up,apologize for or acknowledge. Its ruining my life. My fiance left me (not because of the smell), from the beginning up to that point for some reason it wasnt as bad or he just has something wrong with his sense of smell. He couldnt ever smell it, but I would come home from work so angry and depressed about it, and I was taking it out on him and my son.Im a single mom of a 10 year old,also.My fiance was the one person besides Drs I talked to about it. It was so frusterating to me that he didnt smell it or understand what i was/am going through. He tried sympothizing, but really just thought I was insane. I resented him for that and treated him so bad,not realizing I was making him miserable too. I had become such an awful person to be around. That is the reason he left me. Just completely broke my heart and turned my life upside down and made it 100 times more unbearable.I lost the love of my life All because of this. Now 3 mos later, still totally feeling empty inside, But trying to move on and be more social and date other people so I can keep my mind off him is becomming hard since my condition is getting worse. Now everyone I am around can smell it and are starting to make comments. I have become an awful mom. My mind is totally bogged down and preoccupied about how I can get rid of this.I cant help thinking that. Ill never be able to have a relationship again. No one wants to go out with or hang out with a stinky girl. Of course causing me more misery and embarrassment. I NEED HELP!! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME. I am at my wits end. What is wrong with me? is this ever going to stop? I just want a normal life again!!!!
@Anonymous
First thing, sorry for the late reply I never really go on this blog as much as I should anymore. In addition, I'm sorry for what you're going and I can relate to a lot of things that are happening in your life. It really sounds like your life is crashing down on you and I feel that you should have a personal friend to talk about these problems. I for one never had anyone like that so I would go on body odor forum sites like curezone or breathandbodyodor for support. Now concerning your odor, from my experience I know that there are many reasons why we smell a certain way. Some people have might have a metabolic disorder, constipation, lack of vitamins, or even a sinus infection can cause a odd odor about yourself. You have to notice the little small things in your life to figure out what is wrong with you.For example, if you notice that your odor gets stronger if you eat certain foods then maybe you should go on a certain diet to stop the odor. That's the best advice I can give you. There a lot of posts I've collected from other sites that you can look through to see if any other methods works for you....hope this helps
Diet is very important for controlling the level of uric acid in the body. In order to lower your uric acid level, try to make a healthy diet menu by avoiding purine rich foods.
